My sister came home tonight from work and told me of one of her co-workers. This young lady has a 14 month old daughter and they share an apartment with her mother. Apparently, the place they are in has been foreclosed and they received a notice from a local bank telling them, they have to move out. To make things worst, because the bank owns the building, they have no heat. I would take them in myself if I didn't already have 3 adults and quite a few critters in my home.
Is there anyone out there that can help this family of 3, offer any legal advice...anything. My heart is breaking thinking about a child being cold to the point of sickness.

I am looking for a one bedroom plus office or a 2 bedroom apt with OFF STREET parking for one car and 2 well behaved young cats (but not kittens).. in the Natick ,Wellesley, Dover or Sherborn areas for $1000/month or under. I am on a fixed income so I need the rent on the lower side.

I would prefer a place with all hard wood floors and W/D hookup. I also prefer a first floor or a seperate cottage/gate house/in law apt. I am looking to move in the next 3-4 months.

I have lived where I am now, for 6 years. The reason I wish to move is there is no off street parking and it's been very hard in the winter getting it shovelled out and the home I am in is very old + drafty and costing me A LOT to heat in the winter. The landlord doesn't keep up with the place and it's basically falling apart.

I keep to myself basically. I am not a partyer or have guests sleepover. I am friendly, funny and respectful of people.
I am in my 40's, no kids, single, and a working girl. If heat is not included that is okay as long as the rent is not exorbitant. I can even wait to move until the Summer of 2010, if that works better for you. I don't smoke or drink or do drugs of any kind. Just looking for a clean, updated, cozy place. hi- i am currently engaged in a search for a one bedroom apartment in marlboro.

i am a 50 year old male (writer, part time) looking for a one-bedroom apartment near or around the downtown area of marlboro. my rent is applied with help from a section 8 housing subsidy voucher. the subsidy pays for the larger portion of a one-bedroom placement valued up to about $1000, more or less. (a two-bedroom apartment listed within this price range can also be certified as a one-bedroom). i have used this and similar housing assistance through many years in my situation; i've never missed a payment.

i am clean, very quiet and pay my rent on time (around the 3rd or 4th). i have no criminal background or drug history, have no pets, do not smoke. i have very good personal references and good tenancy history.

the apartment i'm looking for must be within general walking distance of downtown marlboro, and be generally quiet (top floor preferred, no basement apartments or anything that stays 'damp'). i would be the only tenant.

once i find a suitable placement and reach an agreement, the housing subsidy process requires that I give a 30 day (end-of-month) notice to my current landlord, and it will take about a month to line up the new paperwork, schedule it's inspection and arrange everything else. i would not give my notice until end of december (around monday/28) so a move in date would be targeted for end of january (around thursday/28) 2010.

let me know if these parameters match up with the unit you have to offer. if they do, then we could arrange a convenient time for me to see the unit, etc. thanx.

I posted before, and got a great call. I'm housesharing now. But then my housemate (owner of home) got wind of my looking and begged me to stay. So I didn't follow through. Now I've discovered that the house is up for foreclosure, so inconvenient as it is to move, it's time.

Here�s me. I�m middle aged, divorced, grown sons. I get along with anyone, even my ex. Any ages, races, educational status, religion, ethnic background, etc.

Nonsmoker, very light drinker, no drug problems, no emotional problems, no drama. I�m mellow and interesting. I really have no vices. I get my �highs� by skiing down a steep slope, or the view from the top of a steep mountain during a hike, or a great meal in an ethnic restaurant.

I�m considered to be an interesting person. I�m an adventurous traveler. Two summers ago I was in Guatemala, backpacking. Prior trips have been to India, Vietnam, Costa Rica, Japan, and elsewhere.

I�m athletic. Double black diamond skier, �four season hiker�, meaning hiking steep mountains even in the winter, with winter mountaineering gear.

I�m well educated, and am an executive in management with a large, well established, private company that is growing despite the economy. With a very good income. I have what amounts to a lifetime employment contract. Our company is spread throughout the New England states and down to Manhattan, so as a result there�s no central office and I work from home. I work from home maybe half the week, and otherwise am on the road. I�m out of town on business overnight on the average of one night per week, and am often gone on weeekends (I belong to a ski club in NH).

I prefer house sharing to renting an apt for a number of reasons. I�d prefer to be in a nice house in a nice neighborhood. I�m away a lot anyway, either at my ski club in NH, or on trips, or traveling for business. And I get along with everyone. I prefer a house, not an apartment. Some condos might be fine. , I would like a back yard, deck, etc. I like to cook and bar b que. I'm looking for long term, but prefer not to rent an apt which would require a one year lease, becuase though there's no on in the picture now, what if I find a great mate and we want to live together elsewhere?

I am respectful of others and am reasonably neat but not obsessive. I pick up after myself, and am happy to help with chores around the house.

My needs: Reasonably close to highways (495 and Mass Pike). My ideal would be North Framingham, Marlborough, Westborough, Hopkinton, or that area. WITHIN 495 or west of it but putside of 495, then very close. A larger than average room (no matter how great the house, for example 10 x 12 or 12 x 12 won't suit my needs), Either a VERY large bedroom that would also fit my 6 ft desk and a low, lateral file cabinet, or a second room for my office, which can be small. NOT a basement--I like light. SOME room for storage, in a garage or basement. A good sized closet, or use of several closets. Well kept, comfortable house. Sorry to be picky, but this is what I need. Kept reasonably warm in winter (sorry, if you�re frugal and keep it at 62 so we have to wear sweaters, that�s not what I want). Decent cell phone reception. The use of common areas. .

I�m a good cook and would be pleased to share meals, OR if you prefer, keep to myself.

I love all animals but am allergic to cats. Dogs are no problem, if anything a plus. If you want I�ll walk your dog and play with him/her/them. I often take my ex wife�s dog hiking.

Kids are fine so long as there�s no problem with my having an occasional overnight guest of the opposite sex.

I'm a normal, healthy male. On rare occasion I would like to be able to bring home an ACCEPTABLE female companion. Of course, NOT to move in or for extended periods of time.
