ABOUT ME: First of all, so there are no illusions: I am bi and am currently in a solid relationship with another guy. Don't worry, I'm not a flamboyant, prissy guy. That's just not my style. I also smoke. I know, it's bad for you but I really don't drink and maintain other bad habits. I'm clean, love living in a communal situation and have been told that I'm a phenomenal cook. I'm great when it comes to grocery shopping and maximizing every penny of a food budget! (I've been known to drop at least $50 from a grocery bill just in coupons alone!) I am drug and disease free but advocate the decriminalization and advancement of marijuana. Draw your own conclusions from that one. I'm a "reformed" Republican, very anti-Bush but pro Republican towards folks like Colin Powell and Rudy. I'm a political junkie and look at this election season as the most exciting since Kennedy vs. Nixon. And I have NOT made up my mind about the election yet except to say that it's NO to Obama or McCain. Right now I'm leaning toward Cynthia McKinney or Bob Barr.

Looking to spend in the area of $500 to $650 a month to start. I'm in the process of transitioning off of SS Disability as I return to the working world and marketplace so funds are a bit tight especially with the price of fuel. Also looking for at least a year's commitment if not more. I'm more than willing to help out around the house, i.e. small repairs, extra cleaning, light plumbing/electrical work. I have a very strong work ethic. There are no illusions about me. You get what you see. I'm known for being blatantly honest and loyal to the end.

I am looking for dog friendly apt for sept 1 (Metrowest) $1200
My boyfriend and I are looking for a place for Sept 1 that allows dogs. We have a 10 year old German Shepherd and are having a very hard time finding a place to rent. We are both professionals; I work in Somerville and he works in Arlington, so we need somewhere with an easy commute to either. We currently live in Watertown, which is great.

We are looking to spend no more than 1200/month with bills included, as we are trying to save some cash to move to California next year. We are hoping for a 6 month lease, but I realize that might be difficult and are willing to settle for a year if we have to.
