My sister came home tonight from work and told me of one of her co-workers. This young lady has a 14 month old daughter and they share an apartment with her mother. Apparently, the place they are in has been foreclosed and they received a notice from a local bank telling them, they have to move out. To make things worst, because the bank owns the building, they have no heat. I would take them in myself if I didn't already have 3 adults and quite a few critters in my home.
Is there anyone out there that can help this family of 3, offer any legal advice...anything. My heart is breaking thinking about a child being cold to the point of sickness.

Hi!

I am looking for a one bedroom plus office or a 2 bedroom apt with OFF STREET parking for one car and 2 well behaved young cats (but not kittens).. in the Natick ,Wellesley, Dover or Sherborn areas for $1000/month or under. I am on a fixed income so I need the rent on the lower side.

I would prefer a place with all hard wood floors and W/D hookup. I also prefer a first floor or a seperate cottage/gate house/in law apt. I am looking to move in the next 3-4 months.

I have lived where I am now, for 6 years. The reason I wish to move is there is no off street parking and it's been very hard in the winter getting it shovelled out and the home I am in is very old + drafty and costing me A LOT to heat in the winter. The landlord doesn't keep up with the place and it's basically falling apart.

I keep to myself basically. I am not a partyer or have guests sleepover. I am friendly, funny and respectful of people.
I am in my 40's, no kids, single, and a working girl. If heat is not included that is okay as long as the rent is not exorbitant. I can even wait to move until the Summer of 2010, if that works better for you. I don't smoke or drink or do drugs of any kind. Just looking for a clean, updated, cozy place. hi- i am currently engaged in a search for a one bedroom apartment in marlboro.

i am a 50 year old male (writer, part time) looking for a one-bedroom apartment near or around the downtown area of marlboro. my rent is applied with help from a section 8 housing subsidy voucher. the subsidy pays for the larger portion of a one-bedroom placement valued up to about $1000, more or less. (a two-bedroom apartment listed within this price range can also be certified as a one-bedroom). i have used this and similar housing assistance through many years in my situation; i've never missed a payment.

i am clean, very quiet and pay my rent on time (around the 3rd or 4th). i have no criminal background or drug history, have no pets, do not smoke. i have very good personal references and good tenancy history.

the apartment i'm looking for must be within general walking distance of downtown marlboro, and be generally quiet (top floor preferred, no basement apartments or anything that stays 'damp'). i would be the only tenant.

once i find a suitable placement and reach an agreement, the housing subsidy process requires that I give a 30 day (end-of-month) notice to my current landlord, and it will take about a month to line up the new paperwork, schedule it's inspection and arrange everything else. i would not give my notice until end of december (around monday/28) so a move in date would be targeted for end of january (around thursday/28) 2010.

let me know if these parameters match up with the unit you have to offer. if they do, then we could arrange a convenient time for me to see the unit, etc. thanx.
