Refresh your spirit; sharpen your writing skills. Partake in a lively and inviting day of total immersion and focus on the art and craft of prose. This creative gathering of writers will include off-the-cuff writing prompts, compassionate, thoughtful response to manuscripts, and light reading (all manuscripts and other materials sent ahead) in a relaxed and friendly setting conducive to exploring the potential of language on the page. Plenty of individualized guidance, thoughtful suggestions, and insight offered.
All writers and genres welcome: Fiction (short story, novel chapter), memoir, creative nonfiction, essay, profile; first draft or fifteenth; a piece of reckless experimentation or a crafted manuscript. All receive the same focus and care.

Dates: Saturday April 11 and May 9, 10 am to 4 pm. Limited to 7 writers. Fees: Sample one day for $75; or sign up for both for $130. Use the time between workshops to revise or start fresh on a new project. The fee includes written commentary on all work submitted. (We will break bread together, with soups, as well as coffee and teas provided.)
Offered by Kathryn Liebowitz, MFA. An award-winning freelance writer; experienced writing coach, manuscript reviewer, and workshop facilitator; a founding editor of Wild Apples (www.wildapples.org). For details, call 978-772-0421 or email.
