The Wellesley Players present the Kander & Ebb hit musical Cabaret. A night club in Berlin -- as the 1920's are drawing to a close --The Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience to the show and assures them that, whatever their troubles, they will forget them at the Cabaret. His songs provide wry commentary throughout the show as we follow the stories of a menagerie of characters living in the tumultuous and heartbreaking era leading up to the Third Reich. Musical numbers include favorites such as It Couldn't Please Me More, Willkommen, Cabaret, Don't Tell Mama and Two Ladies. Cabaret contains adult themes and suggestive sexual content, and is suggested for ages 16 and up.
