Assistant Construction Manager

Responsibilities :
- Maintain a comprehensive tracker of all construction activities in the New England Region.
- Support management in monitoring construction of new and existing cell sites including all working Mechanical, Electrical and Building Management Systems.
- Track progress in the renovations of existing Cell Sites including Generator Additions, HVAC additions & upgrades, Commercial Power upgrades, Fire Alarm and Security additions & upgrades.
- Assist Operations Group in the management of Preventive Maintenance Program for Fire Alarm Systems, Generator and HVAC at all sites.
- Assist in the De-Commissioning of sites from the area of restoring the location back to "As Was" condition.
- Assist Construction, Operations and Real Estate in the managing of Landlord complaints and property issues for all real property and construction projects.
- Monitor ordering & tracking of drawings, structural reports, utilities, equipment and materials.
- Attend post-construction walks and generator starts

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
- Wireless industry experience a plus
- One Year Project Management Experience in Construction
- Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internal and external
- Proven written communication skills including all MS Office applications
- Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills, self-motivation, leadership and team orientation
- Demonstrate analytic, technical and organization skills
- Working knowledge of Fire Alarm and Security Systems, Building & Management Systems, Commercial Power and Emergency Generators Systems
- Ideal candidate must have excellent "Attention to Detail" skills

Other Qualifications:
- Driver’s license required
- Ability to travel as required, attend zoning/permitting meetings off-hours as needed
- Comfortable in self-directed environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality essential
- High level of proficiency working with forms, and timelines
- Clear understanding of and ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to write coherent routine reports and effective business letters
- Ability to listen, discern and resolve issues with a sense of urgency
- Ability to articulate clearly when communicating with others
- High level of proficiency working with Microsoft Excel – The ability to create, manipulate and modify reports is essential
