PART TIME ABA INSTRUCTOR
Advances Learning Center (www.advancesonline.com) is dedicated to providing outstanding educational services to children with autism-spectrum and related disorders using scientifically - validated teaching methods. Our teaching and consultation is informed by the current educational research. We collaborate with all members of the child’s team to ensure generalization and functional use of new skills. We offer ABA Consultation and 1:1 services, social skills groups and assessments and other services.
The ABA Instructor will work 1:1 with a special needs child under the close supervision and guidance of a certified BCBA. We are looking for punctual and reliable people who are creative, animated, and can make learning fun while sticking to the procedures.
* 2+ years of prior ABA experience is strongly preferred, although we are willing to consider and train candidates who have related education and/or experience.
We currently offer the following opportunities:
Walpole: This case involves providing 1:1 Instruction for a 13 year old boy. Currently, we are looking for someone who could make a 2 hour visit on Tuesdays, anytime between 2:30-6. This case may increase to 2 visits per week in January.
Grafton: This case involves providing 1:1 Instruction for a 7 year old boy. Currently we are looking for someone to make a 2 hour visit between the hours of 3:15-5:15.
ABA Instructors will be supervised by a BCBA and will be working in a client’s home, so access to reliable transportation is essential.
* Compensation: $20-$28/hour
