Did you know you can donate your used books and AV materials to Cary Memorial Library? Deliveries can be made Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please leave your donations in the gray bin located on the lower level, near the Chinese language and adult fiction sections. Some books make their way into Cary's holdings or onto the shelves at Lexington High School. Others end up in our semi-annual used book sale, which raises money for the library.
We accept hardcovers, paperbacks, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, audio books, children's books and current software.
We cannot accept out-of-date textbooks or computer manuals, Readers' Digest condensed books, magazines, records (33s, 45s, 78s) or books in poor condition (musty, moldy, defaced).
Cary Memorial Library is located at 1874 Mass Ave., Lexington, where Bedford Street (Route 4-225) and Mass Ave. meet at the battle green. There is a metered parking lot directly behind the library. Thank you in advance!
