As part of the Literacy Unlimited program, we are offering basic computer courses to anyone who is a non-native English speaker. These courses are designed to help you operate and navigate a personal computer more effectively and efficiently. We will cover how to turn on and off and personal computer, how to use your mouse and keyboard properly, how to create a Word and Excel document, how to create and send an e-mail, how to navigate and utilize the Internet properly and other basic computer skills.

These courses are completely FREE and are open to anyone who is in one of our current ESOL courses as well as anyone who is new to our program. The courses will begin on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. There is a limit of 8 people per course, so you should sign up immediately if you are interested. If there is a lot of interest, we will create additional courses on different days and times to accommodate everyone.
