Hey everybody,

Im in the process of patenting a few new card games that I plan on leasing out to casinos. I need to know the overall house advantages of each game, as well as perfect strategy charts for players. Im not very good with numbers, but I know a lot of combination calculations will be involved. As long as you understand there are 52 cards in a deck, 4 suits each with 13 cards, I think this would be simple for a math wiz.

Let me know if this interests you

Looking for a power-hitting DH who perennially hits .500 or better. A guy who can also see action at 1B or catcher if needed along the way.
20-game reg season plus one or two best-of-five playoff series(hopefully two) every Mon and Wed eve at one of three Framingham fields.
We lost in the finals last year and want to improve a little. Fun but serious 22-team league. To be practical you need to live within a half-hour from Framingham. Half the games are at 6:30 while the others are at either 7:45 or 9. No grace periods in this league so if you come 5 minutes late your team is screwed. So if you have a long commute this situation might not work. Bob 508-561-0771

SEEKING REAL-DEAL SOFTBALL PLAYERS!!!!! (Framingham)

Our slo-pitch softball team has been one of the most successful in Metrowest over the past decade. After winning many pennants and playoff titles in D-1 Natick we advanced to Framingham to meet the challenge of playing with the big boys. This year we lost in the D-1 Framingham playoff finals. We are intent on improving the team for 2010. There are 22 Framingham teams and just four earn D-1 status for the playoffs so improvement is continually necessary. If you care to go to www.naticksoftball.net and read up on the Feds you can atleast get a feel for what we bring to the table. We are currently sponsored by Cotter Painting/Fair Roofing. Our team, as well as all the Framingham and Natick teams, is covered weekly in the local newspapers and on the website. Enter the site thru Internet Explorer.

We are looking for a SLICK-FIELDING THIRD BASEMAN who has a GUN for an ARM and an OUTSTANDING LEFT CENTERFIELDER with a GUN for an ARM. We also need a power-hitting DH that can play some first base now and then.We also need a slugging catcher who will make the clutch plays at the plate. The DH and the catcher have to be strong hitters! We need players who will sincerely commit to playing a 20-game regular season(Monday and Wednesday nites...6:30, 7:45 or 9:00) plus a couple best-of-five playoff series. Two of the fields are in downtown Framingham off Route 135. The third is 10 minutes from the other 2 fields and it is the least used. There are eight scheduled preseason practices in April then the campaign begins. You need to make atleast four of those practices plus atleast one of two practices on a Sunday morning at the indoor batting cage during the winter.

Our roster consists every season of serious ball players of strong character.Great players who are great people. No room for big egos or whiners. If you are a quality ball player...someone who hits for average AND some power...someone who knows how to run the bases...someone who has fun while still being serious about winning...someone who struggles to get to sleep following a defeat....contact me. Framingham is the STRONGEST LEAGUE in the Metrowest area in case you are not familiar.

We are set at 1B, 2B,SS pitcher, RF, RC and RF.
So, are you up for some serious softball in 2010 in a highly competitive and etnically diverse situation? Are you an offensive star that can play IF , OF or catch? If so, please respond. Our team is looking for a few REALLY GOOD men!!!!!!!! Bob/Coach

If you’d like to be informed directly about classes and workshops I offer in the Greater Boston area, please respond with your email address and I’ll include you on my email list. This list will ONLY be used to let you know about upcoming classes.
============================

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Steven Cardoza, M.Sc., L.Ac., holds a Master of Science Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Diplomate from the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists (NCCA), and is a licensed acupuncturist in both Massachusetts and California, as well as an herbalist, bodyworker, medical qigong practitioner, and nutrition counselor with an active practice in the Boston area. From 1995-2000 he was an examiner for the NCCA national board exams. He is certified to teach Wu taiji and qigong by Daoist lineage holder Master B.K. Frantzis. Some of his other qigong teachers include 14th generation lineage holder of China’s E Mei tradition, Master Fu Weizhong; and Master Hong Liu, author of The Healing Art of Qigong. Steven is recognized by the States of California and Massachusetts as a continuing education provider for licensed acupuncturists.

Some comments from previous class and workshop participants:
"A terrific seminar! Very well paced and full of lots of useful, well presented material. He interspersed nicely the energetic explanations of the postures. Questions were answered plainly with practical analogies."
Anne Geraghty, L.Ac.

Steve is an excellent teacher, consistently patient, creative, and skillful. Steve uses a variety of approaches to explain the Taiji form, including demonstrations, (partner) exercises, and even metaphor. He is extremely knowledgable concerning the underpinnings of Taiji, its health benefits and its martial arts applications. He gives personal attention to each student and breaks down the complicated form into smaller elements that are easier to understand. Steve also has a pleasant, helpful manner that makes the class enjoyable. I would enthusiastically recommend his classes to anyone interested in the benefits of Taiji. Sincerely,
John Heymann

“I have been diabetic since age 3 and am insulin dependent. I have been your (tai chi) student for several weeks. (After more than 10 years of no sensation in my feet from diabetic neuropathy, since beginning my tai chi practice), sensation in my feet has increased, and for the last two weeks (the sensations) have increased strongly. I am positive that the tai chi system gives very good results for my diabetic condition.”

Alla Pourzyreva

“Very well organized and comprehensive. This was an excellent class, one of the best I’ve taken.”
Donald Currie L.Ac.

“It was good to have you as a teacher. Your teaching was so concise and detailed. Thank you much.”
Julian Wong

“In high school I injured my shoulder wrestling and playing football. It has been bothering me for twenty years, I tried everything I could think of to help it, streaching, going to various doctors including physical therapy, but after a few months it was only slightly better. I work in construction, so this was interfering with my work as well as with most other aspects of my life, and I still was not able to get better. I recently decided to get back in shape and began lifting weights and the pain came back worse then ever and I had to stop doing shoulder exercises. I read an article on Qigong and figured it was worth a try so I looked up Steve and signed up for private lessons. I explained my shoulder problems to him and he taught me some Chinese exercises, and after just two weeks of learning and practicing my shoulder felt almost back to normal. Now, I'm able to work, sleep, and live my life without shoulder pain, and I've even been able to resume lifting weights."
Dean Gilligan

“More than promised. Excellent knowledge of course subject from general to specific. Excellent class not only for info to clients, but for personal rejuvenation and increased energy.”
Cindy Lyon, L.Ac.

“Thank you (for) an awesome workshop. An amazing level of detailed instruction superbly communicated. This is the first time I’ve felt deeply motivated to take up a regular qigong practice.”
Ian Goldsmidt

“(The) material was very accessible for both beginning and more advanced students. Steven presents material with a very clear narrative background, methodical practical experience, and ongoing individualized guidance. (He) is and excellent instructor--quite gifted, yet humble in his presentation. Thank you for your skill and sensitivity.”
Pat Mayo

“He has studied under well-known masters and instructors, and his knowledge of the taught material was self-evident. I would very much recommend this course for anyone, and will whenever I have the chance!”
Masayuki Hamazaki, L.Ac.

“Thanks for your friendly and thorough approach to teaching!” Doug Maclaren
