VP Finance, Tax, and Treasury. Report directly to the Waltham, Mass-based CEO of a profitable, Venture Capital backed, European Software Company with 2000 customers worldwide and a growing market in the US. Lead its new European Strategic Headquarters in the picturesque canton of Schaffhausen, 45 minutes North of Zurich, Switzerland. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your career to the next level.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Management and on going monitoring of the principal company structure, currently being set up by PwC.
- Swiss tax reporting under US GAAP.
- Swiss Operations reporting and worldwide consolidation
- Tax support required to ensure accounting and tax compliance.
- Direct worldwide billing and accounts receivable
- Operate Lockboxes in target markets
- Manage cash and treasury functions
- Manage reimbursement for Limited Risk Distribution Companies
- Manage reimbursements for Development Companies
- Tax planning and providing tax advice on significant business transactions.
- VAT compliance and providing ad hoc advice.
- Employee taxes compliance and providing ad hoc advice.
- Withholding tax requirements.
- Manage a small accounting staff
You will have:
Tax or accountancy qualification and solid corporate tax / international tax experience you will be rewarded with a hands on role with overseas travel when required. You will be more successful if you are fluent in both German and English speaker and ideally you will have broader skills or exposure to indirect tax and employee tax.
