My client is a small financial services firm located West of Boston. We are looking to help them fill their stand alone Controller position immediately. This position requires a candidate with a combination of experience within public accounting (at least some of it on the tax side) and corporate accounting/bookkeeping. This role calls for someone extremely comfortable in a hands on, roll up the sleeves role within a small company. The candidate will handle all aspects of the accounting and finance functions for the company, from transactional work, through closing the books and tax filing.
Our client is looking to hire immediately!
Compensation will go up to $75,000 base + bonus and other potential profit sharing incentives.
Job Qualifications:
- 4 year degree in accounting or finance
- CPA/MST big plus
- Tax experience in public accounting
- Corporate accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Comfortable in small company environment
- self starter who is willing and able to work autonomously
